MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Santa Claus made a visit to members of the 908th Airlift Wing and their families Saturday, arriving at Maxwell Air Force Base aboard a C-130. Santa gave his sleigh a rest and wanted to honor the Air Force Reserve by arriving in a C-130 an aircraft they are used to seeing on a daily basis.
The 908th , comprised of more than 1,200 men and women is Alabama's only Air Force Reserve unit. The unit operates a fleet of eight C-130H2 Hercules cargo aircrafts.
Children stood in line to visit Santa and give him their wishlists along with taking pictures with him.
