In a follow up to our earlier report, we have confirmed that two crop dusters collided at approximately 5:10, Tuesday afternoon, in Ashley County, 2.5 miles east of Portland, on Highway 160, in Ashley County.

One pilot died from injuries and the other is hospitalized.

The Ashley County Sheriff's Department and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the collision.

At 9 PM, only law-enforcement officers were present at the scene.
