DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT:
On November 15, 2019, N973CG taxied into two other Citation aircraft through an inadvertent application of power at San Antonio, Texas.
DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGE:
The damage includes but may not be limited to the following:
Crushed nose section
Canopy deice system destroyed
Left and right windscreen has deep gouges and scratches
Port side fuselage pressure hull has wrinkled skin near the two passenger windows from weight of other aircrafts nose gear.
Pressure hull is damaged.
Port wing leading edge has two areas compromised/crushed near panel 2 and 3, bleed air tubing is crushed.
Port aileron counter weight is crushed
Left landing gear door is bent
Right wing aileron is warped and bent from impact with third aircraft’s wing.
Surfaces are covered with dirt and dust from being on the ramp since 2019. There is no obvious hail damage but there was a reported hail storm at this airport during the time it has been on the ramp.
LOCATION OF AIRCRAFT:
Aircraft is stored at Skyplace FBO, San Antonio Intl Airport, San Antonio, Texas.
REMARKS:
N973CG has been sitting on the ramp since November 2019.
Insurer reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
