Airbus delivered 334 jets in first eight months

PARIS (MarketWatch) -- European aircraft maker Airbus, a unit of European Aeronautics Defence & Space Co. NV (EAD.FR), Tuesday said it delivered 334 aircraft from Jan. 1 to Aug. 31 this year and booked total orders of 1,015 over the period.

In a statement, Airbus said it also had 141 order cancellations over the period, from an initial total number of 1,156 orders.

Over the period, Airbus delivered 39 Airbus A321 jets, 188 A320, 37 A319, 25 A330-200, 2 A330-200F, 30 A330-300 and 13 A380 jumbo jets, it said.
