Who here needs a job? Columbia Regional Airport (KCOU) looking for new manager - again!

Columbia Regional Airport manager Andrew Schneider was fired recently.

Airport superintendent Don Elliot will replace Schneider and work as interim manager until the city of Columbia finds a permanent replacement.

Although Columbia officials would not comment as to why Schneider was fired, city council members were told it was related to Schneider’s job performance.

As manager, Schneider’s responsibilities were supervising the airport’s daily operations, including organizing safety measures, employee concerns and maintenance issues.
