Florida Governor Rick Scott in Brazil to meet with Embraer officials... Pushing jobs plan for Jacksonville.

SAN POULO, BRAZIL -- Governor Rick Scott is meeting today with officials at Embraer, an aircraft company in Brazil, in the hopes of bringing more jobs to Jacksonville's Cecil Commerce Center.

Jacksonville has in the past had contact with Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer, which has expressed an interest in setting up shop at Cecil Field. More here.

Scott will be touring Embraer's headquarters, receive a briefing, and eat a "private lunch," according to his schedule.

Scott is currently on a seven-day Brazilian trade mission. Joining him on the trip are, among many others, Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll, and Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown.
