Russia’s major air carrier Aeroflot is opening a direct flight service from Moscow to Ho Chi Minh, the company’s officials said.
The newly introduced service is particularly attractive in light of an agreement on easing mutual travel signed by Russia and Vietnam under which Russians can stay in Vietnam without a visa for 15 days.
Vietnam is currently seen as the safest tourist destination in Asia.
