India: Flights arrive behind schedule

LUCKNOW: Flyers continued to face a tough time as fog disrupted operation of flights at the Amausi airport for the fourth consecutive day on Friday.

While, the morning Go Air flight from Delhi, G8-351, remained cancelled, at least half a dozen other flights arrived way behind schedule. The Jet airways flight from Delhi, 9W-2237 once again arrived at Amausi airport only in the afternoon, even though its scheduled arrival time happens to be 6.20 am.

Likewise, the Kingfisher flight (IT-3651) and the Jet Lite flight (S-2-244) -- both from Delhi -- were delayed by nearly three hours.

Air traffic improved only in the afternoon; even though there were stray cases of flights arriving late in the afternoon. An Indigo flight, 6E-339, from Patna arrived two hours behind schedule. Flights from Mumbai and Kolkata, however, arrived in time.
