WICHITA, Kansas -- On Monday, Cessna announced plans for a new business jet to be built in Independence or Wichita.
The Citation M2 is a light jet that officials say will fill the gap between the Citation Mustang and Citation CJ.
The jets have room for two crew members and six passengers.
The first flight will be in early 2012 with deliver by the second half of 2012.
Part of the jet will be on display at the National Business and Aviation Association meeting next month in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The jet will costs over $4.2 million to purchase.
