Sheriff: No survivors in small plane crash near Rocker, Montana.


There are no survivors after a small single-engine plane crashed Monday morning near Rocker, according to Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff John Walsh.

Authorities are now trying to determine how many people were on board the plane that crashed west of Butte, Walsh said at around 12:30 p.m.

Further details are expected to be released at a press conference later today.

The plane crash was reported this morning. A police scanner report indicated that a plane was spiraling out of control with flames showing.

Emergency crews, including search and rescue, police and fire departments, are at the scene.
