Ha ha.. The old lame excuse of.. My brakes locked. Blaming the mechanics for Panic Braking. Old excuse. Im a CFi for decades and seen Panic Braking a lot on mediocre pilots..
ReplyDeleteYou sound like a mediocre CFI. The jet has anti-skid (anti-lock brakes). Maximum braking should never lock up a wheel, especially on a dry runway. The crew did nothing wrong.
DeleteHonda jet was indicated 180 kts ground speed according to ATC tapes at around 500’. I would have gone missed. Non stabilized approach. Go around.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lie. The HondaJet was doing 118 knots, the Pilatus PC-12 behind it was doing 110. Speed was perfectly fine and there was no indication of an unstable approach. Listen to the LiveATC audio and stop posting misinformation.
