  1. Oh Marin County ... where lawn sprinklers are allowed only one day a week, washing a car at home is banned, and decorative fountains can’t be refilled. The orders are part of an effort by the local water district to cut usage by 50% after a precipitous fall in the local reservoirs.

The Democrats have forced the destruction of dams and other water storage infrastructure. Spring snow melt and rainfall flows straight into the Pacific Ocean, wasted. Instead of being captured and used during droughts and other shortages. Democrats have consequences.

    1. What the hell does this have to do with this accident? I swear, you Trump people have no decorum, no sense of propriety, and no respect for decency. Use any platform to try to spew your hateful, inaccurate, and insulting speech.

Imagine being so pathetic, so absolutely pitiful that you feel the need to come on KR and post anonymous comments railing against the Democrats. About something wholly unrelated to the ACCIDENT on this page. What a sad, pathetic man you must be. Clearly the GOP has consequences too: brain damage.

Get real and get a clue, Boomer. Your time is UP.

    2. I completely agree. It is also beyond my understanding why Gavin Newsom is using the budget windfall to send out stimulus checks instead of investing in water resources and conservation (and fire prevention).

I lived in Marin for many years. The problem there and Sonoma County (where I am now) is that the water supplies are all local (basically Mendocino to Mount Tam). So when rain clouds bang against the Western slope of the Sierras we get zippo over here.

The other problem is that we have a static water supply and the cities give out building permits like dentists give out toothbrushes.

We could do much better than this.
