Chautara, Aug. 4: Police
have arrested Sujal Shrestha, helicopter pilot of Fishtail Air, after a
man was killed by the rear propeller of the helicopter.
Shrestha
of Sinamangal, Kathmandu Metrololis-9 was arrested this morning and
further investigation is underway, according to District Police Office,
Sindhupalchowk.
The accident took place while the helicopter with
the call sign 9 NA-AJI was landing at the 'The Last Resort' at Listi
VDC-5 of the Sindhupalchowk district to receive foreign tourists. Resort
manager Thakur Rimal, 31, of Nuwakot died in the accident.
The body has been airlifted to the Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu, for a postmortem.
