Has private aviation been eliminated from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (KPHX)?

Question: I don't see small planes flying in and out of Sky Harbor anymore. Has private aviation been eliminated?

Answer: I called upon Julie Rodriguez, public information manager for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Here is how she answered:

"Many smaller private planes use the general aviation airports in the area. The city of Phoenix owns two: Deer Valley and Goodyear, but there are several throughout the Valley.

"We still see private aircraft at Sky Harbor. There are two businesses at Sky Harbor which provide fueling, hangar space and many other services for private aircraft and pilots, Cutter and Swift."
