Nobody was hurt when what’s termed a “mishap” involving a helicopter crash occurred at a Ft. Rucker training range overnight.
Public Information Officer Lisa Eichhorn said she is still gathering details and would issue a press released later Friday morning.
It’s not immediately clear exactly where the mishap occurred but a person who knew of the crash said it near the Coffee, Dale County line north of the main base.
Eichhorn said she isn’t sure right now what happened or how many people were on board. She stressed there were no injuries.
