MAYNARD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Maynard man says he got a little
help from above winning a vintage plane similar to the one he used to
fly with his dad.
Jack Mason first saw the plane at an air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and just knew he had to have it.
Mason
took a chance, bought 10 raffle tickets for the plane and won! And
coincidentally, he won it seven years to the day his father passed away.
The
plane that Mason won has a few differences from the one he used to fly
with his dad. He says he has to learn a little bit more about it before
launching from the air strip he has in his own backyard.
