Four missing after police helicopter crashes into reservoir in Beijing

BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Four people are missing after a police helicopter crashed into a reservoir in a northern suburb of Beijing on Wednesday morning, Beijing police said.

Five crew members were aboard the helicopter that was returning from a rescue drill above the mountainous region of Miyun County that ended at 9:12 a.m., the Beijing police said in a statement.

As of 1:30 p.m., one crew member has been saved while the rescue of four others is still under way, according to the statement.
