Small plane crash at the El Paso International Airport

EL PASO, Texas - Airport officials are investigating the crash of a Cessna 337 Skymaster airplane at the El Paso International Airport Saturday morning.

According to El Paso International Airport spokeswoman Liz Bellegarde, the crash happened at 10:58 a.m. when the nose wheel of the aircraft collapsed damaging the propeller. The crash happened on Runway 26 Left.

Two people were on board at the time of the crash.

No injuries were reported.

Officials: Twin engine plane crashes at El Paso International Airport 

Officials are investigating an airplane crash at the El Paso International Airport.

Liz Bellegarde, airport spokeswoman, said the crash was an alert 3, meaning there was an "aircraft accident at the airport."

The alert 3 came in at 10:58 a.m. The nose gear on twin engine aircraft collapsed shortly after landing causing propeller damage Bellegarde said.

The Cessna was in the process of being removed officials said.

According to officials there were two people on board but no injuries were reported.

The accident had no impact on airport operations.
