AvPORTS' plan to promote "easy" for Lehigh Valley International Airport will not work until there are more options for nonstop flights. We recently flew to Las Vegas out of Philadelphia after checking for similarly priced options out of LVIA. No carriers offered nonstop and many were priced higher than the Southwest Airlines flight we found. Last year we drove to Chicago rather than first having to take a flight to Charlotte, N.C., in order to get there. We would love to fly out of LVIA, which is surely easier than the alternatives, but until there are more carriers and more direct flights, no amount of promotion will lure more travelers to LVIA.
