Nampa Municipal Airport (KMAN), Idaho: Several temporary closures for runway paving in coming weeks.

The Nampa Airport runway will get repaved for the first time in 14 years, but that means temporary closures that affect those who fly in and out of the airport.

Airport officials worked closely with customers and the Federal Aviation Administration to come up with a work schedule that would have the least impact on users, according to a press release from the City of Nampa Monday.

During the improvement work, pilots may use tie-downs at the airport at no cost, though they must contact the airport manager directly before doing so.

Idaho Sand & Gravel is the contractor on this project, and they expect to have the run construction done by the end of the second closure (listed below), but a third closure date was included in case of weather delays, city officials said.

Here are the dates/times of expected closure:

- 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28

- 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5

- 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12.

Possible night closures for edge drain installation

- 8 p.m.- 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 to Friday, Oct. 28
