On August 9, 2019, about 1830 central daylight time, a Cessna 150G, N8374J, impacted terrain near Cordell, Oklahoma. The private pilot was seriously injured, and the airplane was substantially damaged. The airplane was registered to and operated by a private individual under the provisions of 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 as a personal flight. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the flight, which operated without a flight plan. The local pattern flight originated at an undetermined time.
The private pilot was performing touch and go landings at Cordell Municipal Airport (F36), Cordell, Oklahoma. On landing, the airplane touched down abnormally and the pilot lost control of the airplane.

CORDELL, Oklahoma —A person was injured Friday night after a plane crashed in western Oklahoma, officials said.
The pilot of a single-engine Cessna C150 was doing touch-and-go's at the Cordell Municipal Airport when the plane crashed in a field near the runway, according to officials.
The pilot has been identified as Devin Humphrey.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
