OGDEN, Utah, Jan. 23, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A Cessna R172K Hawk XP airplane reportedly flipped over on a runway at the Ogden-Hinckley Airport Wednesday afternoon.

Airport officials said a student and instructor were flying the Cessna R172K Hawk XP at approximately 5:45 p.m. The student was practicing touch and goes, an exercise where where you line up with the runway then come down, land and take off again.

During the exercise, the student reportedly lost control of the plane and it flipped over on the runway.

There were no injuries as a result of the crash.

The exact extent of damages to the plane is unknown at this time.
