HOUSTON - A bird struck a plane Thursday during the holiday rush at Bush Intercontinental Airport as it was landing.
The Houston Fire Department says a plane was in the process of landing when a bird hit one of the engines.
The plane eventually landed safely, officials said. They do not believe anyone on the plane was hurt.
