Missouri: Planes Circle Near Grand Glaize Bridge After Man Flees Arrest

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — The Missouri Highway Patrol says they don't know why a man fled after a trooper pulled him over on Thursday afternoon, but they're looking for him.

According to MSHP Sergeant Scott White, a trooper stopped a vehicle at around 1:20 p.m. on Osage Beach Parkway, near Malibu Road. The driver—a male wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans—fled southbound toward the Lake.

"We don't have information on why he ran," White said. Residents in the area reported multiple Highway Patrol aircraft circling the area on Thursday afternoon. White said Patrol officers were still on the scene, as of Thursday at 3:45 p.m.
