Chamber Ribbon Cutting for the 55th anniversary of the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 55: Mason Jewett Field (KTEW), Mason, Michigan

The Mason Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors provided ribbon cutting on Saturday, June 14, 2014 for the 55th anniversary of the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 55 at the Mason Jewett Airport, south of Mason.

 Assisting EAA Chapter 55 president Steve Houghton are club members, friends, and family.  Later that day, they had over 90 children show up for their Young Eagle flights. 

Free airplane rides are available to children ages 8-17 with parent’s or guardian’s permission.

Young Eagles will fly again on July 12 and August 9, 2014.
