LAWTON, Okla_Lawton
police responded to a call a little after midnight to a driver who had
crashed through a fence and driven on to the runway at the Lawton/Fort
Sill Regional Airport.
Police tell 7News they do have the individual in
custody, but the person was not willing to divulge any information as to
how or why the incident happened.
The FBI has been brought in
to assist in the investigation, and they will be conducting interviews
Monday afternoon.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol was involved.
The airport has been secured and will continue normal operations.
