Guns Confiscated During Security Screenings At Philadelphia International Airport (KPHL), Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA - A spokesperson for the Philadelphia International Airport tells FOX 29 two guns were confiscated during security screenings Thursday. 

The spokesperson says the guns never made it onto an plane. 

Police sources tell FOX 29 the first incident occurred in the morning, around 9:30 a.m., when a 44-year-old woman forgot she had her .44 caliber with her. 

In the second incident, at 4:30 p.m., police sources say a gun was confiscated from a 23-year-old man. 

In both incidents, police say the guns were confiscated by TSA agents.
