Palm Springs, California: Volunteers needed to fill board, commissions positions

PALM SPRINGS — If you’re a Palm Springs resident and want to serve your city, volunteers are needed to fill positions on various boards and commissions.

The Palm Springs City Council announced this week that it was seeking volunteers to fill vacant positions.

The Airport Commission, the Board of Appeals and the Planning Commission are among 12 municipal bodies with vacancies.

Applicants — online applications are at www.palmspringsca.gov — must live in Palm Springs and meet a deadline of April 11.

Applications also can be dropped off at Palm Springs City Hall at 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, or faxed to the clerk’s office at (760) 322-8332.
