Plane makes Logan International Airport (KBOS) landing after cabin pressure issue

BOSTON —A Newark-bound flight was diverted to Logan Airport after a pressurization issue on Friday.

United Airlines Flight 121 from Barcelona landed safely at Logan at 3:03 p.m., according to FlightAware.com.

After the pressurization issue, the 757 plane descended to 10,000 feet.  United said no oxygen masks deployed to passengers.

The 757 was carrying 113 passengers and seven crew at the time of the incident, according to United.

Passengers said they were advised before departure that a different type of aircraft was being used for Friday's flight and it would make a stop in Goose Bay, Canada, to refuel.

After clearing customs at Logan, passengers will board another United plane and continue to Newark.

NewsCenter 5 and wcvb.com will have more details as they are available.
