54th annual Chicago Air and Water Show presented by the City of Chicago and Shell Oil Products United States

The Blue Angels have been zooming overheard - shaking the windows of the office and making it impossible to forget that the weekend is just around the corner. This weekend is the Air & Water Show - get a front row seat for all of the action at one of these viewing locations.

Where to Watch the Air & Water Show This Weekend

The Navy-Pier-adjacent sundeck overlooks Lake Shore Drive and has the perfect view of the sky looking South. For $150 per person guests can enjoy a DJ, specialty cocktails as well as gazpacho, crostini and portobello burgers. Purchase tickets here.

Navy Pier
Aside from strolling along the pier (and pushing through the crowds) an Air & Water show special will be taking place at Riva Crab House -the deal includes dollar oysters, and Landshark Beer (312-595-5446).

J. Parker
This is possibly the hottest seat in town with views of the lake looking North towards the skyline, but it also may be the most expensive. Tables during the show will have a minimum of $100 to $500 (312-254-4747).

Oak Street Beach
Soak up the show in style with VIP seating at the beach, which includes tented private seating as well as food and drink specials for $95 per person. Or slum it with the masses and take part in the taco station. (312-988-4650).

Trump International Hotel & Tower
The Terrace will open early this weekend (10 AM) for drinking and sky gazing. Sip a Blue Falcon, made with vanilla vodka with fresh muddled blueberries and Blue Curacao, topped with egg white foam for $22.

Quay
Get close to the action at the dockside patio. The restaurant will be serving lunch and cocktails all weekend while the boats zip along Navy Pier (312-981-8400).

North Avenue Beach
The pop-up Sand Bar Beer Garden will take over the beach with an open bar that includes beer and sangria as well as a BBQ buffet courtesy of Phil Stefani’s. Tickets cost $75.
