Dispatchers said a pilot escaped serious injury when his small plane crashed in Western Kansas today.
Emergency crews responded to the scene 13 miles north of Tribune in Greeley County shortly afternoon.
A Kansas Highway Patrol dispatcher said the pilot is an area farmer who was checking his crops. The dispatcher said the pilot was slightly injured in the crash.
