Essex Police have been showcasing the series of high-tech gadgets that they use in the fight to keep the county safe.
The gadgets include a thermal imaging camera, a spotter scope with a powerful zoom and a mapping system which allows the crew to navigate to any specific address.
The helicopter has a search light to illuminate areas, a public address system and aerial photography.
All these gadgets have helped the helicopter team attend more than 3,000 incidents, find 140 missing people and making 300 arrests in the past year.
The team has also helped recover nearly £1million worth of property in the last 12 months.
