Denmark launches inquiry on Turkish Airlines

Thirteen foreign pilots, who work for the Turkish Airlines (THY), criticized it and noted that some of THY’s Turkish pilots do not have sufficient professional knowledge, they are not fluent in English, and this could cause crashes.

In an interview with the well-known Politiken daily of Denmark, the said foreign pilots stated: “Because of the Turkish pilots’ bad knowledge of the English language, we frequently cannot understand the commands, and they are unable to carry out the pre- and post-flight safety measures.”

Henrik Dam Kristensen, the Danish Minister of Telecommunication, informed that a service inquiry is launched on THY, in connection with the daily’s publication. The Minister also noted that he instructed so that the claims, which are made in other European countries concerning THY, be studied, the Kurdish Firat News Agency reported.
