Two men are arrested after a homeade bomb exploded at Tulsa International Airport.
Alexis Higgins, an airport spokeswoman, says. “It was reported to us by one of our parking employees that she heard a loud gunshot or explosion.”
It was just after midnight.
Officers went to the area outside the airport and found two rental car employees with an explosive device.
They arrested 21-year-old Michael Oakley and 22-year-old Garrett Moore.
Higgins tells KRMG, "I don’t really know what they were doing or thinking. I just know that they were successful in their attempt to create this explosive.”
Higgins says there is very little damage.
