Two men arrested for detonating homemade bomb at Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma.

Two men are arrested after a homeade bomb exploded at Tulsa International Airport.

Alexis Higgins, an airport spokeswoman, says. “It was reported to us by one of our parking employees that she heard a loud gunshot or explosion.”

It was just after midnight.

Officers went to the area outside the airport and found two rental car employees with an explosive device.

They arrested 21-year-old Michael Oakley and 22-year-old Garrett Moore.

Higgins tells KRMG, "I don’t really know what they were doing or thinking. I just know that they were successful in their attempt to create this explosive.”

Higgins says there is very little damage.

No one was injured.
