Virgin America Airbus A320: Flight From Orlando International Airport Diverted To Houston


ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Virgin America flight that departed from Orlando International Airport on Tuesday night was diverted to Houston.

According to FlightAware.com, Virgin America flight No. 315 took off from OIA for Los Angeles just before 7:30 p.m.

About two hours later, the Airbus plane landed in Houston.

A passenger aboard the flight tweeted a picture and said there was a smell in the cabin, although the reason for the unscheduled landing is not yet known.

Emergency crews were waiting for the plane when it landed.

No other details were immediately known.
