Arkansas man catches two buglers stealing from his home while flying over the scene in an airplane. (With Video)

ARKANSAS - "We got real lucky."

Arkansas man Steven Lynn was already taking video with his cell phone while he was sight seeing in the sky when his pilot friend noticed an unusual sight.

"Someone's at your house, man, look, the yard."

Sure enough, Lynn saw two men loading up air conditioners and other scrap metal items onto a trailer. They had broken into his house.

"I kinda felt helpless, watching someone from an airplane, stealing from ya," Lynn said.

But he did help. Lynn called his uncle first, then 911.

By the time sheriff's deputies and state police arrived on the scene, the two men had taken off. But from the air, Lynn was still right on their tail.

"I mean it was wild," Lynn said. "One the most wild things I've every experienced seeing someone rob my house and the whole chase. It was like being on COPs."

Giving deputies turn by turn directions, the plane tracked the suspects for two miles.

Cornered, the alleged burglars Joseph Peel and Roosevelt Smith were arrested and charged with theft.

Now, Lynn says he'll keep tracking the case in court, and even though it was a wild ride, he says he wouldn't hesitate to take another.

"Absolutely, I loved it. Just hope no one is stealing stuff out of my house the next time," Lynn said.

The sheriff's office says this was definitely a first for them -- not only to have eye witnesses from the sky, but to also have it all caught on camera.

Peel and Smith pleaded not guilty to the crimes in court and are being held on bond.
