A second plane in two days has crashed at the Meadow Lake Airport, in eastern El Paso County.
Two people were on board a small plane when it crashed shortly after take-off at 7:23 a.m. Saturday. A witness called authorities.
Lt. Lari Sevene with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said the plane had not been in the air long before crashing, but it "was airborne, it wasn't during take-off."
Sevene said the plane crashed in between two hangars, then slid into one.
The pilot has already been transported to a nearby hospital, while crews are preparing to transport the passenger via Flight For Life. The severity of injuries is unknown.
An 11 News crew is headed to the scene now. We are working to get more information.
