On December 16, 2014, about 1839 UTC, a DeHavilland DHC-8-400Q, powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC) PW150A turboprop engines, experienced an engine casing burn-through and in-flight shutdown near Belfast International Airport. Belfast, N. Ireland. There were no injuries to the 80 crew and passengers aboard and minor damage to the airplane.
