The air ambulance plane made the emergency landing after a female patient onboard began to suffer medical complications.
The pilot touched down at Cancun International after leaving Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for additional medical assistance when the woman began to suffer heart problems.
By the time the plane landed, the woman, identified as Lourdes Maria N, had died.
The plane was bound for Toulca when it made the emergency landing in Cancun.
