The Jabiru J250 is an excellent performing LSA and has the capability to well exceed the LSA recreation ops 120kt max speed with the Jabiru 120hp engine. I got to ride in one some years ago and we hit 135kts true (3kts below Vne). It is a slippery little bird. However the nose steering system I noticed is quirky - seemed like there was a lot of dead fish play in the rudder pedals and figuring out where the nose wheel was oriented was difficult to measure. I can see an inexperienced pilot getting in trouble here.
