No injuries were reported after a plane veered off a runway at Nashville International Airport on Friday afternoon. 

A general aviation aircraft landed on the runway around 4:45 p.m. Friday before veering into the grass near the strip. 

No other craft were on the runway at the time of the incident. 

A BNA spokesperson confirmed the plane was being towed out of the way. 

No impact to commercial traffic was reported in the wake of the incident, spokesperson Shannon Sumrall said. 

The investigation into the cause of the incident is ongoing.
