Yikes that's scary and rare. Side windows obviously don't get impacted directly by birds and whatnot. Perhaps a microscopic defect in the material manufacturing process that only now after many years of cycles showed up? I'm sure Gulfstream is interested in this as their new G500 and G600 orders keep pouring in as well as their new flagship G700 being recently revealed.
ReplyDeleteThis was an older Gulfstream (cira 1989). I doubt a manufacture defect was the cause.
