NORTH KINGSTOWN, Rhode Island (WJAR) — According to the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, a single-engine airplane experienced an incident landing at the Quonset State Airport in North Kingstown at about 3 p.m Saturday.

Officials said no injuries were reported.

The small plane was seen nose-down on the runway.

Rhode Island Airport Corporation also said the runway was closed for about five minutes.

The incident remains under investigation.
