On July 14, 2019, about 1924 central daylight time, a Cessna T188C airplane, N2863J, impacted terrain near Knox, Indiana. The pilot sustained serious injuries. The airplane was substantially damaged. The airplane was registered to and operated by AAA Spraying Solutions, LLC doing business as Bluebird Ag, as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 aerial application training flight. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed, and the flight was not operated on a flight plan. The local flight originated from the operator's airstrip in Knox, Indiana, about 1900.

The pilot was practicing aerial application work by apply load of water along the operator's airstrip at the time of the accident. No chemicals were on-board the airplane. Witnesses reported that the airplane entered a left 270° spiraling turn before impacting the corn field on a northwest heading. The accident site was located about 0.31 mile east-southeast of the operator's airstrip.
