FLORENCE COUNTY, South Carolina (WPDE) — A small plane crashed on Hicks Road in the Coward community of Florence County, according to officials.

Two people are being transported to McLeod ER with injuries. Deputies are reporting minor injuries.

Neighbors said they saw two EMS units on scene.

Officials are still gathering information.

COWARD, South Carolina (WBTW) – A small plane is down in Florence County, the sheriff’s office says.

Chief Deputy Glen Kirby, with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, tells News13 the plane is down in the area of Hicks Road in Coward.

Kirby said there were minor injuries.

  2. ^ It's either yours or it could very well be from our crop farm. Over the past winter months we threw away tons of the poly-pipe irrigation tubing that no longer was useful. The farm workers put it on the dump on our northern acres. It's got me thinking... I wonder if its being resold to aircraft builders. I wouldn't put it past our field workers. Just sayin'.
