FULTON — A small plane making a landing at Elton Hensley Memorial Airport in Fulton overshot the runway Tuesday morning and ended up wrecked off the end of the runway.

Fulton Police Chief Steve Myers said there were no injuries and only the pilot was on board at the time. The plane had minor damage.

The incident occurred around 9:25 a.m. Tuesday.

The pilot was coming from Oklahoma and making a stop on its way to Michigan. Lieutenant Ladwig with the Fulton Police Department said the pilot was not new to flying.

The plane was removed from the ditch just before 12 p.m.
