Coast Guard plane gets fresh paint in Roswell, New Mexico

This C-130 U.S. Coast Guard plane from Kodiak, Alaska, shows off its fresh paint job. The Roswell operations of Dean Baldwin Painting worked 12 days to paint the plane, having previously stripped the old paint about a month earlier. Two more Coast Guard planes are expected in the near future.

Dean Baldwin Painting workers from the Roswell facility at the Roswell International Air Center mark their completion of a 12-day painting job of a C-130 U.S. Coast Guard plane.  The Coast Guard has played a crucial role in Hurricane Harvey rescue efforts in recent days. General Manager Jude Zimmerman, shown in front next to Mayor Dennis Kintigh, who is holding the T-shirt, said that the company expects to paint two other planes for the military unit in coming months.
