KANSAS CITY, Mo. - More than 100 people are stuck at Kansas City International Airport after their flight made an emergency landing because of a smell on the plane late Monday night.

The Alaska Airlines flight AS-35 was traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Seattle when a foul odor was detected on board.

The plane was grounded around 11 p.m. Monday.

No one was hurt, but four flight attendants were treated at the scene. They are all OK.

Two passengers told 41 Action News the airline offered them hotel rooms, but they said the conditions of the hotel were so bad they returned to the airport.

A replacement flight will not arrive at Kansas City International Airport until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

I didn't know Kansas City was that bad. We want to get back on the smelly plane and eat airline food!
