Emergency landing turns out to be just a scare at airport
Emergency officials responded to Bradford Regional Airport early Tuesday evening, just in case an incoming flight from Cleveland had to make an emergency landing.
It turned out, however, the aircraft made a normal landing, according to airport director Tom Frungillo. The plane had a burned out landing gear light, Frungillo said.
Members of the Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department and a fire truck from the airport responded to what Frungillo called a rare event.
