Action 2 News has learned airports in the state received notice that flight service from Frontier Airlines will be discontinued at some Midwest airports.
Austin Straubel is among them.
Frontier is cutting a number of flights to and from its hub in Milwaukee on November 1st -- no longer connecting Milwaukee to Green Bay, Madison, Minneapolis, Des Moines, Cleveland, or Dayton.
Service for Rhinelander and Ironwood, Michigan, airports will continue because they're considered essential routes and paid for by the FAA.
